Travelocity Mobile App for the iPad
Company sets to attract Mobile Users with immediate needs

Reaching out to the growing base of users on the Apple iPad has companies redeveloping mobile applications to bring those users to sites and services. One of the most recent in the daily additions to the expanding list of Apps is Travelocity which today launched a new app for the iPad which will give users many of the same features as the full Travelocity website including the ability to book flights,hotels and car rentals.
According to a Press Release from Travelocity, Those looking for deals will also be able to secure savings for top travel destinations through an area on the App labeled “Mobile Exclusive Deals.” Representatives state that some of these mobile rates are even lower than what is available on the desktop version because of the focus on the mobile traveler. Mobile users with the iPad App will find easy single page check in's for flights and hotels as well as Access to Top Secret Hotels with unpublished rates up to 55 percent of the Travelocity regular rates for the same hotels on the same day!
