In the "Old Days" mapping was all about pulling into a gas station, unfolding a huge map over the steering wheel and hoping the street you were looking for was laid down after the map was printed. Mapping has changed and the applications surrounding it have as well. With the advent of the internet many online users have spent hours searching out 2D flat lines of color to seek out personel historical places such as schools, past jobs and of course homes of friends and family.
