We're excited to have representative on the show from a company that is well respected from users and builders alike, Alienware. The company itself has been around since 1996 and has built a tremendous reputation for building screaming powerhouse machines. Alienware doesn't skimp when it comes to peripherals built into a system. In many ways, this business model can actually save the company in Tech Support calls as we have found that by putting the best materials into a system, you can get the strongest and lasting performance which seems to be what Alienware is all about. Its various system configurations can handle pretty much everything from Email to High End Gaming.
The company also offers various Notebook systems that can rival the desktop, the most recent introduction to the product line is the Area 51 - M9750. While most would call this mobile system a desktop replacement system for its top of the line specs, its thin design at only 1.5" calls for this gem of a system to be taken everywhere!
Powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo processor is just the beginning of performance. The system features 2 nVidea 7950 graphics cards with 512MB in SLI mode harnessing the power of two processors. The twin configurations don't stop there, the m9750 also offers dual 7200rpm SATA drive available in Raid O or Raid 1.
We talked with Bryan DeZeyas about this system and the benefits of the Alienware brand. We talked about the ability to order systems for the time bieng with either Windows XP or Windows Vista. We also found the different models that essentially can be customized for the individual user wanting more power than the traditional Off the Shelf System. High Performance graphics, next generation Wireless capabilities and wide screen displays are just a few of the features of these very powerful systems. For those Home Entertainment enthusiast we also get a peek at the Hanger 18 Media system also from Alienware. Tune in and Listen to our audio archive with Bryan DeZeyas on TechtalkRadio.
