Two of the names of programs in the professional Graphics and Video world that are highly respected and used come from Adobe. We're of course talking about Adobe Photoshop CS and Premiere Pro 1.5. We use both programs and while they can do just about anything needed for graphics the learning curve can take a while to master. With greater numbers of users getting their first and even second PC's, many want to be able to create presentations they have seen, similar to those created with the High End programs.

(Pictured Left) An Easy Step By Step Interface to clean up and "fix" photos is just one of the features that Users have embraced the popular Photoshop Elements programs which have given them the power to easily edit, add effects and titles and correct photographs scanned in or taken with a digital camera. The newest version was announced this past week and we talked with Jim Mohan of Adobe about the features in Photoshop Elements 3.0 which continue on the past versions success as well as add features for easy emailing of photos as well as organizing the images into collections for sharing or even creating slide shows.

For the first time from Adobe we are seeing the Premiere Elements program which will give many users with Digital Video Cameras the program they've needed to edit video, add effects and titles and grab still images, which can then be imported into Photoshop Elements 3.0! Images from that program can also be imported into videos to Premiere Elements. We call both of the programs extremely intuitive as many of the steps are automated with complete flexibility so users can experiment and try different solutions and effects. We'll talk with Jim and Stephen about the programs and the incredible cost savings from getting both as well as stand alone editions.
